This project was installed on the fence of what used to be affordable housing and businesses in the neighborhood of La Mission. In 2015 the property went up into flames in the middle of the night, many suspecting that it was intentional in order to build luxury units in the neighborhood.

Long term San Francisco residents remember this space as a place to get tacos, your quince dresses, and popeyes on your way home. But after several years, the area remains desserted and the suspicion fills the air.
