Twisting a renaissance piece to represent what Art should look like. When people think of Art they often think of Renaissance paintings with pale white women, half naked, admiring themselves. They don’t think of all the black and brown artists that have been creating for centuries. Representation is something that the art field is greatly lacking, so I decided to create it through this piece.
